To what extent do you think this was deserved? Having watched this film in class did you feel that your opinion (or perhaps the opinion of others) to

I think this video was deserved, and has not been credited for alerting those who have watched the film, and are making small changes to their own lives to contribute living a sustainable lifestyle. From a personal opinion I feel I have been influenced by this film reason being because it was interesting, humorous at times, had a story line to the mini film. It also had different images for those who will understand it in a better way; I think the film was very affective even if the facts weren’t quiet right.

The narrator still got a clear message across in more than one way , he used cartoons, graphs, mini videos, person family photos, experiences etc, He was even practical in the film himself .(Demonstrating how much global warming has gone up over the years on the machine)

Watching the film and reading back to my previous blog prompt number 1, I feel as if I should contribute and make a little bit more of an effort to the planet. so yeah the film has influenced me whether I make the changes or not ill have to see. Maybe the next blog prompt will be the final straw for me to take action on living a sustainable lifestyle… Hummm interesting.

I am not a sustainable person, a sustainable person commits to making the world a better place for the future of their relatives in years to come, or maybe for other personal reasons E.g. An individual may have got food poisoning because there were too many preservatives and additives in a tomato they may have had, this individual would then argue for more natural organic products, personally I would agree with this because everybody wants to be healthy but natural organic food doesn’t have any taste. It’s so bland and not really enjoyable. So I would much rather a fatty beef burger that has preservatives and additives init.

I do use public transport although it seems to let me down most the time so I would say that is sustainable so I guess I am helping the world in some sort of way only because I don’t have a licence to dive, I would consider getting a bike. But then again that would be for my own personal reason to get fit and tone my legs up rather than “make the planet more sustainable “
I think in this time and age it could be too late to make any source of change to the world, however I believe children do as they see, I think to be a more sustainable person in society you should be thought from young so it comes natural to your lifestyle. I on the other hand have a particular lifestyle where my mind is totally not interested in being a sustainable person. Because its not when IV known and it’s not what I do. That’s what is preventing me from improving a sustainability of life style.

When writing this piece of information I have surprisingly learnt something about myself. I am quiet a selfish person when it comes to others, it has made me reflect on my actions and think well… should I start recycling? Should I get a compos bin? Should I help this planet save money? nope, it is time wasting and besides, I wouldn’t live to see the difference.

Blogprompt Number One

What actions could you (in theory) undertake that would improve the 'sustainability' of your lifestyle? What might be preventing you from doing these?
