As a citizen I feel that I should be informed with anything that maybe happening in the world, it is My Duty as a citizen to make sure I inform myself with serious issues.
I also have the responsibility to make sure I have access to any kind of material for me to be informed with any particular serious issues at any moment and time.

The way I inform myself with serious issues is on my DAB (Nationwide Radio).Or if I feel like watching a bit of worldwide news that maybe currently happening, then I watch channel 4 news.
Complicated decisions I feel should be left up to others. (Who ever they maybe)....

I think the people who reveal complicated issues feel it is their Duty to inform the rest of the world that there are complications arising , once the information has been passed on to us..
(As citizens) then it is our choice to do something about the particular situation to make a difference.
